Temporary General Management’s Consultant for the opening operations at Hotel 60 rooms 4 stars in Livorno www.hotelrex.it ,amenities included 2 restaurants, meeting space capacity 150 guest, private beach 500 guest capacity and water sport activities ,children’s program & diving center .
Hired to take over renovation project, recoup hotels reputation in local market and to increase market share along with customer loyalty.; arrange set up of operational standards for all departments; redirection and revaluation of products and services; hiring of department head personnel; prepare realistic opening budget and develop the sales and marketing plan along with corporate director and president of the company. Occupancy increased and average rate remained stable. Accomplished increases through creative attention-getting renovations of breakfast buffet bar, exterior landscaping, up-grades all room amenities , new computer systems, creation of brochures and other sales support materiel ,Creation of the contents of various Internet-sites ,re-design Internet web-site, reservations systems and e-commerce strategies.

Multi-unit operation direction In charge of overall operations of the hotel, such as directing and implementing policies and procedures in all operational departments. Responsible for creating a budget and directing all department heads to accomplish operational and quality standards, including but not limited to hiring of all department heads, directing daily operations, implementation and motivation of such individuals.
- Supervised the redesigning of operational department manuals and implemented operational standards in areas such as inventories, portion control, menu pricing including re-designing of the menu to include area natural resources with an accent on regional cuisine. Recruited as General Manager to install new management concepts Aiming to the commercial repositioning and management reorganisation of the Hotel Tirana International with 170 rooms, Conventions Center (with 4 meeting rooms and an events area capacity up 400 guests ), 2 restaurants, 2 bars, condominiums, shopping centre and offices

- organize the accounting functions and implement a uniform system of accounts .
- Elaboration of annual budgets and the follow-up.
- Preparation and control of investment budgets.
- Elaboration of monthly occupancy and revenue reports.
- Analysing and defending P&L statement in monthly management meetings
- Organisation, preparation and managing of meetings .
- Developed business strategies with local partners to increase guest
satisfaction and profitability.

The reorganisation of this property from publicly owned (Government) to Private was organised smoothly and without causing unemployment .
Crisis, which was the main concern of the government in close collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This required from my side lots of strategic thinking and exposed me to various levels of politics exposure, maintaining integrity as well as focusing in the main goal.
